Accounts and roles
UML offers two account types: teachers (“Maestros”), who create and manage leagues, and students, who participate as performers and judges. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
Teachers adding students
When you invite students to a league, you represent that you have the appropriate authority and any necessary permissions to do so within your educational context. You invite students by email; each student creates their own account and accepts these Terms individually before participating.
Age requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use UML. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Acceptable use
You agree to use UML only for its intended educational purpose. You will not misuse the platform, attempt to access data belonging to others, upload unlawful or harmful content, or interfere with the service’s operation. Judging feedback should be constructive and appropriate to an educational setting.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit — scores, written feedback, profile details, and uploaded images. By submitting content, you grant us the limited license needed to store, display, and operate that content within UML for you and the members of your league.
Subscriptions and billing
Access to create and run leagues requires a paid subscription, billed through Stripe. Subscription pricing, billing periods, and renewal terms are presented at checkout.
Data and termination
You may request deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. UltimateMusiciansLeague LLC may modify or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
